The idea behind this website is to experiment with multiple branching stories.

I am also experimenting with the idea that stories often share the same themes/morals/plots across multiple genres.

To illustrate this I have created a website that allows plot branching and also allows you to change the genre at any time by clicking on the labelled buttons.

I use the term "genre" loosely, as I do not to pretend to be a literary master who can fully exploit the nuances between genres. Think of it as changing the style, characters, and imagery, yet still maintaining an underlying plot (I use the term "plot" rather loosely as well).

The diagram below shows the plot branching structure and the basic plot theme of each branch.  These themes are shared across the three genres; Crime, Fairy Tale, and Sci-Fi. This creates a total of 36 "pages"!

This website uses JavaScript, and requires a compatible browser such as Internet Explorer or FireFox.

Avoid using the browsers "Back" button, as the text is dynamically created in just 1 html file rather than multiple html pages.
